Can't take any credit for finding this or identifying it. I came across someone with a long prime shooting away furiously, so I thought I'd take a few snaps!

Plain little feller, and a first for me...

Could be cropped a little on right to remover OOF leaves but you really need to clone out the dust spot and possibly get sensor cleaned. If you took a burst did you not get one with its beak more open to demonstrate it ws singing.

Thanks for the comments. Good idea about the crop, but the dust spot isn't a dust spot, it's an insect! I should have cloned it out though.

I didn't take as many shots as I should, and quite a few had something wrong with them. The only one of it with its beak wider open doesn't have a catchlight and I had to try to clone out a branch running through its beak.

I've also no idea why I'm at 300mm when it's a 200-500 zoom! That's the second time it's happened with a critical shot recently. I really must keep an eye on it!
