Two very well exposed shots with the harsh sunlight there and your timing is very good indeed.

Looks like tricky lighting but the trick is to make the subject stand out from the background, and the way to do that is to increase the speed and reduce the f-stop to say f4 or less. Using a long lens helps that process, and you will see your subject jump out from the background.
