Gearr Aanoch and Aonach Dubh from the River Coe

Really like the second; the first feels to me like two pictures separated by the riverbank.

I get this comment but no sane person would surely just take a picture of just the river section below the bank - it would just be some stones with some snow on the top. It's fine for foreground but no way would it make a compelling picture in its own right IMHO. The real interest is the distant mountains.
 
I very much like the earthy colours of the stones beneath the stream in the first image.

Thank you John, whilst I get what you're saying, for me it isn't too concerning. It's something that makes me not shoot places a lot, so appreciate what you're saying :)
 
I like the first one best, like the distant mountains
