- they move so quickly it was difficult to get good renditions on the day, Daniel - but I'll be back in better weather

Grosso modo, a picture is done in two steps:

the capture, which is not what I meant in my comment and
the post production that will lead to the rendition. This is where
I think you could do better, Russ.

There is an unresolved yellow cast and, IMO, taming the mid-tones
would do wonders in these!

I'm so biased toward the otters in general… I still enjoy seeing them.

Ah, but I will do better with a faster shutter speed in better weather next time, Daniel, rather than the grainy grab shots in this post at ISO 1750. As I saiid in my last post, these lovely creatures move so quickly - therefore I need a high shutter speed. A yellow cast is in the eye of the viewer I feel
