Globbies and something else

Hi Alf, nice shot, No 1 is the best I think.
I`ve seen a few but my lens and or other bits dont go down that far, maybe 1:1 or 1:2 :(
No idea on the last shot.

Great stuff Alf, agree with Graham, the first is the best. Unfortunately you've overshot focus on the second a bit, but it's still a good image with nice clean background.

The third I believe is a Lonchoptera (Spear-winged fly) Larva.

Thanks Graham these are taken at around 3X magnification on a smaller sensor so although they are cropped they will be much less cropped than you would need.

Thanks Tim especially for the ID.
Yeah you are right about the focus I did not manage many shots the first 20 were at ISO 2500 and I was only 10 minutes.

Nice set of images Alf, I'm liking them all but #1 would be my fav'.(y)

George.

Be careful what you post Alf, you'll be encouraging globby fever again! :)

Super stuff Alf, how the hell did you spot the fly larva...

Thanks Alby
I spotted it in the viewfinder as I chased a blobby not easy though as it was only about 3mm long
