I have just bought a GoPro Hero 6 black for a trip to new zealand we leave for next week. Had a play around with it last weekend and shot some videos at varying resolutions and FPS. I downloaded the GoPro desktop app and the GoPro quick editing tool.
The footage seems to struggle to play on my laptop and tablets, especially in 4k. The footage is very jerky and unwatchable and hops from one section of the video to another. The GoPro app seems to fundamentally not work on Windowns 10 laptop but is better on my Galaxy Tab S3.
Does anyone have any tips on how to shoot and edit GoPro footage? My laptop is a decent spec with 13gb Ram and a high res display (although possible not 4k).
