Golden Eagle (Falconry day photo)

A few weeks back I experienced a day at Thirsk Falconry Centre.
My daughter had bought me the experience and it was mainly hands on flying the birds so not time for many photographs but this was one of those I grabbed of the Golden Eagle.

The same bird approaches a bait. The sheer size of these birds is so impressive.....

The light quality in the first take is stupendous!
I do not sign in anywhere so I could not see a larger version…
but this one seems a tad soft, does it?

The second image is a heavy crop. Just illustrating the size of the bird really.

Ha Ive just looked at the exif for that first shot and noticed the exposure...... 1/3200! Obviously accidently moved the dial when going for the shot. ISO is 1600 too so certainly not the best settings but the result accidently came out OK.
