Just come back from two very enjoyable days at Goodwood.

A very different event to the Revival but one that still has the legendary Goodwood attention to detail and generally excellent organisation.

AND it didn't rain once :)

My favorite car - difficult - think it has to be this one - the Beast of Turin 1911 Fiat S76 28 litre 4 cylinder World Land Speed Record car - 135mph in 1913

Favourite race - Gerry Marshall Trophy / Sprint. What an inspired decision to reverse the grid for the Sprint race!

The last races running into darkness both days was both spectacular and a challenge, not seen 10,000 ISO on my display before!!

5dmk3 coped admirably but did throw its toys out of the pram a few times when faced with blinding lights.

Lots more photos

Nice shots David had a look at the album on Flickr I take it you were signed on to get on the inside of the chicane ? 2 is my pick of the bunch on here.

Re Flickr do you have any problems with Flickr meddling with your uploaded pics as they seem to be de saturating my pics after upload really annoying as I am happy with the edits I have made when uploading to Flickr.

Hi Gaz - not trackside as such but MM allows public access to areas normally reserved for GRRC Members. Access to the paddock as well.

Not noticed Flickr doing anything except making my photos look a bit more saturated perhaps, could be a calibration issue on my side as my monitor is a bit past it now.

Some nice shots there :) Must get myself along next year, always looks to be a good meet!

Nice shots, and I agree that the FIAT is an absolute beast!
This year was my first time at the members meeting and I was very impressed. Not a cheap weekend but everything was very well managed and it was great to see some proper cars up close and being raced properly.
