On Holiday last week we managed a visit to Salisbury Cathedral, the work of the medieval masons is truly awe inspiring.

And the Font-the surface is water which is continually running out of spouts on the corners, apparently according to the guide one vistor placed her handbag on the surface thinking it was glass.

Shot one for me

With shots 2 and 3 your verticals are way off from angling the camera upward in 2 then downward in 3. Try keep things level on both horizontal and vertical planes or use a shift lens to control this. Shot 3 is also over exposed

Thanks for your comments, you are of course correct about the verticals and the use of a TS-E lens, mine was at home and it would have been well nigh impossible to set it up on a tripod ( if it would have been allowed) with all the visitors in the way.
The one of the roof was the best I could get without getting crowds of people in the shot , similarly with the font, I had to wait about 20 mins to get a shot without loads of people

Actually I like the shots. Perhaps slightly off but thats learning and as you say, no tripods etc...
