This was my first time to the West Rim... must say i much preferred the South Rim for its greenery and scale

Interesting panorama when seen large, good colours, shouts the subject. How did you get there, drive from vegas?

Nice enough picture for that time of day. Shame that that time of day didn't really give you the best light to show off the glorious colours that the canyon can show. However, unless it's a holiday purely for YOU to take photos, it's not really fair to keep the family (or even just a companion!) hanging around all day waiting for the light and if it was a coach trip, it may well have been a bit of a whistlestop tour anyway.
