Beginner Grasshopper reflection

There are lots of grasshoppers in my garden, but they very rarely land somewhere interesting or at least stay there.

Definitely not a cricket. It's a common field grasshopper.

No problem, I've spent a lot of time chasing them round my garden in the last three months so I figured I should ID them haha.

I think that is excellent Ben. Well framed with good illumination and detail in an unusual and strikingly simple yet not featureless context that makes the subject stand out well. Very appealing to my eye.
