Beginner Grasshopper

Well, I assume it's a Grasshopper.
Quick lunchtime grab, handholding in natural light. He didn't hang around long enough do much else.

NIce shot, shame it was at f5 but I guess you get what you can at the time and as you say, it didnt hang around that long.
Yes a cricket but no idea what family it belongs too.

Nice. I like the low down angle.

I think it is a grasshopper rather than a cricket. Crickets have very long, thin antennae.
