Great Cormorant

This was a bit of a gamble, the Cormorant was a long way off but the light was great today. So, I got out the dreaded 2x converter and attached it to my 200-400 with its internal 1.4 engaged.

1120mm hand held with manual focus. It isn't too bad IQ wise:

You've nothing to lose, other than image quality, by trying so it must be worth it otherwise why carry the convertor with you all the time? It's something like 22x magnification. That's quite a shot. Well held!
