We have a few in "frogland" .. anyway we did a couple of weeks ago, (been away), will have a look tomorrow, usually in flocks in the woodlands at the edges of the vines

Comments much appreciated

- I believe greenfinches have been hit by a disease in recent years, which would explain their declining numbers.

We have a few at RSPB Old Moor - did see one pulled to pieces by a Magpie a few months ago though

Good at the moment for garden/woodland birds Dave, and I caught a glimpse of a Tawny Owl along the riverside walk - otherwise I find it a little disappointing for bird photography compared to Old Moor

- My cloning skills using LR5 are not good Stan - I always make a mess of this kind of bg unfortunately, and certain forum members always manage to spot it
