Greenfinch.

Seeing Russ's thread from earlier this week reminded me of the greenfinches that were visiting the hide towards the end of last October.

They were visiting for a few weeks but have since disappeared, hopefully to new pastures and are OK.

Nice capture Dale. not everyones cup of tea when the light falls across only part of the bird, but I like them for something different

Hi Dale; always nice to see a Greenfinch - just ensure you keep those feeders clean as these birds are very susceptible to disease

Thanks Mike. That's one problem I'm having at the hide just now with the light is that the house casts a shadow over the garden with the sun so low from October onwards. If the greenfinch had just taken another step forward. Not long now before the sun gets higher and will be at a good level for a short while.
