Greenwich Tall-Ships Regatta......

One of the few advantages of being in SE London is having Greenwich next-door to me. Apart from the fascinating maritime history of the place, it also hosts the (mostly) annual Tall-Ships Regatta, which is just sheer beauty to behold

A Thames Barge 'Hydrogen', not exactly a tall-ship, but at least it has sails.....











I'm sure they could've found room on the deck for 'em to stand on......

I agree best of the bunch. The rigging shot is interesting but lacking sharpness. Looks ok as the small image on flickr.
That coolpix has done well,

Back again folks

The light was horrendous, dismal grey cloud with occasional wet stuff dropping out....

The reason the rigging-shot is fuzzy, is likely due to the distance at the time, 'twas hand-held after all
