Grey Heron....still waiting!

Got these whilst waiting for the heron to turn up.

Was there for a couple of hours after work, in harsh light.

Typically, the heron did turn up, once my gear was all packed away and I was getting in to my van!

I could not pick one that I would say was the best.
I think each have got that something special.

Nice set- I think the Rabbit is a tad over exposed- love the Fox shot

I feel your pain. Have a few heron's nearby, but they always seem to know, when I have my camera in hand. They've literally flown over my head when I don't have the camera

Some exposure issues here Wez (probably easily corrected) but love the Fox

I agree on the exposures. I lightened them up a bit as on the histogram in LR they were under-exposed, but thought they looked over-cooked.

I think it's because I reduced the highlight slider all the way down and then upped the +ve exposure and white sliders.
