I watched the adults try everything to get this youngster out of the nest

They tried not feeding it for a good hour or more and then sitting in 2 separate trees calling = no go !

Then the final trick the male teased food out of reach and went round the tree with it = Success

Normally they just fly out of nest and you never see them again, but luckily this one left the nest rather awkwardly and paused for a second before it was off :)

That's the exact images I was hoping to get on my GSW nest, unfortunately the weather has turned down here and its a tad wet to get out :(

Yes same here now certainly not a flaming June lol

Of all times I watched them this is first time one has done that and actually climbed out? They usually fly out of the nest and you missed it in a flash

Its raining hard here now- I think I've missed the Fledge
