I seem to have an enemy on my patch just behind my house in fact - I went out this morning with the intention of photographing a Avocet sitting on eggs ( from a distance 200-600mm + 2x TC) However: this chap refused to move away, followed me around for an hour - be rude not to photograph him- I eventually got the shot I wanted No3 / No4 here

Very good close-ups, Les. Glad you got the Avocet even if its mate wasn't :)
 
I think it's a Texel they can be pretty stroppy especially at mating season but that's autumn so you were probably not in immediate danger of being seen as potential competition or ... Ummm.. worse :rolleyes:
