Ripped apart by apex predator that is the Loch Lomond Midgie trying to grab this one last night.

Went out looking for the Aurora but nothing happened for us unfortunately.

Glad to have come back with at least one image on another failed journey.

I really like that. It makes me feel I'm sitting there watching, and my own midge bites from last night itch. Fortunately the Devon midges are mere amateurs compared with the Scottish, but I'm well aquainted with both. Well done for braving them - worth it imho.

I quite like it. I've been there a couple times during the summer and it was mental getting eaten by the midgies. A small fire will keep them at bay! In fact I've just remembered I parked at the ash car park at Cameron House to get a photo and when I went back to my car there were loads of them covering my bonnet because it was hot! Bad bugs! lol.
