Eardisland Sunset by Andrew Wright, on Flickr
Is this your neighbourhood?
…my kind of environment anyway!
Does this WB tweak make any sense to you, Andrew?
It's a small village near a town called Leominster, pronounced 'Lemster'. It's about 80 miles from where I live, we take our caravan here. We are currently nearing the end of a 10 day stay before returning home.
The image was formed from 4 images stacked using affinity pro, and yes like the WB adjustment, was trying to make it more like what I was seeing, and never thought to tweak WB. The original images were taken this evening.
Very nice spot!
For my suggestion, I sampled on the
white brick wall of the right house.
Thanks for that one, will try to remember next time, probably save a lot of fiddly adjustments. I take it you used LR for that?
Would I not know your kind heart, Andrew,
I would take that as an irreparable insult!
No, I don't work with any adobe products
since five years. Like you, my pixel editor
is Affinity Photo and my RAW converter is
Capture One Pro.
I am taking a long time to get my head around Affinity pro, I didn't know you could sample WB like that, I really must spend some time with it and learn more.
My son is a web developer and he uses it every day, we just live a long distance apart so don't get together often enough for him to give me a good run through, so I stick to the basics really. Living a busy working life doesn't help. I do occasionally get to use 'you tube' tutorials, but the ones who love there own voices get on my nerves, you watch half or more of the video until they get to the important bits.
I wouldn't do that WB in AP… but in C1 it's a treat.
AP produced quite numerous home videos — and counting—
that may be viewed on their website… very good!
I will have a look at that later, revisit image and re edit, I have to learn these things.
Lovely image like that alot though the WB tweak is an improvement
Worked out the WB teak, but haven't had any look importing the Affinity pro modified image to Capture NX so I could tweak the WB.
Forget this post, images mixed up
Sure, as only AP may open AP generated files.
Yes, I thought I had posted a stack, not with it this week, bad case of flu earlier in week.
