Interesting that you got so close in with the Raynox 150 at 200mm on APS-C for the first one. Is that a very big crop? (I get a scene width of around 22mm on (Canon) APS-C at 200mm with a 55-250).

Interesting also to see someone else using very small apertures.

So the front wings inflated before the rear ones?


I have never tried 'stacking' and have been really impressed with f32 on this set up. With the Raynox attached, I need all the help I can get!

I have shot a lot of these, emerging from Nymphs this week and this was the first that 'pumped up' the front wings so far in advance of the rear set.
