..... this year at the start line at Shelsley Walsh with my Bronica ETRSi using a 50mm lens with diminishing light, wide aperture and slow shutter speed with 400 ISO B&W film.

I've scanned it and added sepia effect for the traditional aging method.

What do you think?

Yep - good toning, I could well believe that was period shot except for the helmet. (y)
 
I like that. Could you explain a little more about the ageing technique you used. Only the helmet gives it away (and the smell - it doesn't smell like an old photo!)

It was taken with a medium format film camera with the setting detailed above. All I've done is scanned it and in photoshop elements I've added a sepia filter to the image.

Other than that all else was done with the panning of the camera - no other special effects.
