Heron perched on tree.

Was walking along canal in wiltshire and there was a heron on the path, in the way of (as in didnt want to scare it) and we walked slowly up to it and got within a few feet before it flew up - don't think i've ever been so close to one! did take a photo on my compact, it was really interesting to see up close!
