Think the other bird is doing the "man state ahead" not acknowledging you being there :)
 
Mistle, I would say .........because of shape of head, body and spots and it's general stance

but others would need to confirm or not as some of the spots particularly on the LH bird look heart shaped ........ the more I look at the spots, the more unsure I am

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think the problem with identification is because they are juveniles and not fully grown. Had they been adult birds, then maybe a visit to the RSPB website would have helped.
