One off my PHOTO bucket list this summer

Well chuffed.. been wanting to photo highland games for ages but work weekends through summer... Found one thats not only on a tuesday its on my wifes 28 yr wedding anniversary to me....so we have booked a nice lakeside hotel.. 4 days in scotland with games on the special date..

Its not one of the massive events.. but it's held in a castle and has the world caber tossing event as part of the games...

Only us photographers would dare to take their partner on a wedding anniversary trip to somewhere 'nice'... and say that they'll just pop to take some photos of an event near by while there... ;-)
( I should know - me and the Mrs end up in Cyprus/Algarve every year on our wedding anniversary... and I have worked most of those days... )
