Since hockey seems to be a popular topic just now, so here are a few from the game I went to on Sunday.

It was an improvement on the rugby I went to on Saturday. That finished 3-0, but wasn't as exciting as it sounds.

Great shots, really sharp which really catches the action. The facial expressions in hockey photos always make me laugh, not so much when it's me playing though!

Where was the game/what were the teams out of interest?

These pics are really good and sharp, what lens and settings have you used to get these.I am a beginner and looking at getting a better lens for my sons inline hockey games.Would appreciate any info, thanks.

Personally I like number five the most. The concentration caught in the face on number four is great too.
Number one simply reminds me of why my back gave in and I had to stop playing.(y)
Good bunch.

Inline hockey will be in a poorly lit sportshall, or an equally poorly lit rink!

I have a sigma 70-200 f2.8 HSM, which is fine for most places. If you are right up against the glass then maybe something a bit shorter. There are times I wish I had a <70mm on. With inline hockey it will depend a lot on where you will be able to shoot from, as if its a sportshall there could be difficult positions to shoot from.
