The two Goosander chicks (boy do they grow fast!) were
spending some exuberance playing "catch me if you can"!

As I observed them, I seemed to detect a pattern in the cha-
ses. More like the way it starts… so I watched them and fi-
cured out what to look for.

I did not have to wait long, I recognized the beginning of the
séquence of events. I was ready for it, just had to take my eye
in the VF… activate the BBF and aim… shytt, I was too late!

hoping to catch it back and…

Four other frames were taken along, following this lucky one
but they were not sharp enough to use.

Is the photo#1 showing the "foot prints" of a sprint like the one starting in photo #2?
If you reversed the sequence ... you then got the start of the take off "now you see it" #2 and then in photo #1 "now you don't" ... just sayin... :D

Yes Charles, that was the idea of my son too.
But I preferred to tell the story the very clumsy
    way it happened! :)
