It looks like one to me. Don't ask me which one from that photo though as I can't get an idea of size and age and I can't see the body, hind legs, tail and overall fur colour. If I had to choose I'd suggest house mouse. Hopefully we'll have a mouse expert on the forum who can l confirm the id.
On the basis of the smaller ears, larger 'hand' and more greyish appearance I would say a Field Mouse but again I'm no expert and the main areas of difference are indistinct or invisible.
I don't think it is a wood/field mouse. The colouring doesn't look quite right - too grey - even though there is variation in wood/field mouse colouring. The ears don't look quite big enough. Although this mouse has large ears those of the wood/field mouse are very noticeable. I also would have though the lighter underside would have been visible.
My money is on a house mouse or young rat but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
We used to get house mice on the farm.
This doesn't look like that. The snout is a little too "pointy".
I'd agree young rat.
My farm days are long ago so happy to be proved wrong, though.
