My excuse for posting in this section is that it is a racing car, even if it is on the elderly side! 2,433cc Aston Martin/Riley special, 1931/39 at Wiscombe Park hill climb last weekend for the VSCC meeting. Only took a compact (Panasonic TZ100) since I was on 2 wheels so space was at a premium.

Translation available on request - not very rude but the swear filter does pick up on one of the words!

I'm no Latin scholar so asked my daughter, she thinks it would be better written as semper sumus in faecibus, sole profundum variat :)

From what I could gather, the inscription is pretty much as old as the car so the current English to Latin translation is probably different to that on the car.
