Into the unknown

It's good, but I'd like a little more separation between the police and the background - like this, their hats or helmets have already disappeared.

OK, it IS better, but looks like you've dropped the contrast so the pavement is now darker. It's your image and I don't want to presume to tell you what to do, but boosting highlights on the LHS of the image would make it punch a bit more.
