Strangely enough, it is the wife of the client that made
the decisions on what pictures to take in their final se-
lection. All were chosen, from what I understand, on
the criteria "this one, it belongs to So or So" and not
really based on the communication value of the takes.

In two threads, I will post some pictures that were not
selected and that I may use. Nothing could be done
about the wire fence!

I like .5. best! Is that something glowing around the tree...?
3 is nice, but I'd consider removing the sign post.

The glow is in fact the same foggy air than elsewhere
but thicker around the tree that shades it from the early
morning's convection that is building up… it will too
dissipate in some minutes… but it is a nice effect.

There is a bus stop at that place and there were far too
many other signs, a car on the road, and a silo in the BG…
all gone so I thought I'd leave this single one.

#5 and #3 have really more dynamic in them.
Thanks for commenting!

Yes, the enclosure is pretty long but very narrow.
I posted the tripod in the middle but they mainly
stayed in the higher grounds (left) of the field.

they have beautiful faces
…and, most of the time, a good nature to go with it!

Thanks Dave!

Cloning out the fences if it suits your client is only a 2 minute job Daniel ...... a little longer and you can do better than this

I know that very well, Bill but in these specific stables,
all the operations, are surrounded by farm land and
it would not be logical to show horses free to access
cultivated fields.

Here, in this take, the neighbouring field has valuable
special pumpkins that the owner would not appreciate
to see destroyed.

If I would use this cloning technique, you would be the
first to note to me the cloning artefacts… that's why I
never use it. When I need to correct details, I use other
readily available tools.

Many thanks!

The glow looks to me as if its an artifact of PP'ing rather than fog? I'd be surprised to see any fog on such a sunny day?

I think 7 would look better if it were cropped centrally.

"Artifact of PP'ing?"
Really?

I'd be surprised to see any fog on such a sunny day?
It was morning Jim, the air is just starting to warm up and
it is the only chance in a day to see these nordic horses
stampede like that… by 11:00 it is way too hot for them!
I think 7 would look better if it were cropped centrally.
Why that?

My only concerns have been

1) the sharpness of your images with your 600mm lens and trying to help with this

2). The fact that you offer advice and edit other peoples images and then do not take your own advice and always offer reasons why what others say is not valid when they comment on the images that you post
