Just a bowl of fruit. The Apples and Pears from my own fruit trees, not from the shop and they taste much better.

I trust you that they taste better but the colours
are not so welcoming, I think!

… may have to do with the bowl colour itself?

Looks like there is a slightly magenta colour cast, the highlights need taming and it may have a little too much saturation.
