Today whilst driving near to home in the Cotswolds I crested a hill and spotted these two oaks on the horizon.
Had to pull over and make an image, deliberately left space to the right to add a sense of balance the sun popped out very briefly
and added its glow, hope you like it.
Nikon D800e and Nikon 70-200f2.8 VRII, tripod, MUP and exposure delay(3sec)
Any comments welcome.

I rather rather like the shot, but not so much the sickly colour cast.

Thanks for your comment Viv.
The colour cast is accurate, the sun came out briefly from the grey and caused this unusual toning.
Looks fine on my calibrated monitors!
cheers

If you're happy with it that's all that matters.

NICE.
I like this because of it's difference, The fact you have not placed the trees dead centre helps with the composure, maybe a tad more foreground.
Been a bonus if there had been a figure in the open hedge line, such as a man and his dog.
If it was mine I would be hanging this on the wall.
Thumbs up from me.

That works well, the extra effort in MU and exposure delay, coupled with the quality of the 70-200 really shows through in this image :)
