For several years now, i get Blackcaps visit my garden(in Winter/Spring/Summer).
Its just a suburban house, but my garden backs onto a well established wooded area/motorway verge, so im lucky to sight all sorts of wild creatures.
This last few days, ive noticed a family of Blackcaps feeding on the huge bramble bush, thats hangs over my fence. The Blackberries are ripening up nicely.
Images shot from an upper bedroom window. I would imagine the subjects/birds are approx 30 feet distance.
Blackcaps are wary/sensitive birds, so the slightest movement, an they take off!
Some images, cheers Paul.
Most of my images are not cropped, but i do crop every now an then.
