Kenya in B&W

They're pleasant enough pictures and have a hint of 'classic mono' about them in the tones, particularly the first. The second somewhat lacks a 'subject' without managing to be abstract..
 
I like them. Personally I prefer the second - though I have a niggling feeling there may be a slightly stronger crop in there.
 
When I saw "Kenya in B&W" I thought"Oh no ... in a land with so much colour!",
However these work, especially #1 ... I agree with Toni's comment about the lack of 'subject' in '2 and it has haloing along the skyline. :)

It's interesting as I had no issues with the second image until reading your comments. Now I can't not see the lack of subject. Plus the haloing has really bugged me.
Every day is a school day :)
