I have a lot of shots like this. :LOL:

ISO 2000 and it doesn't look overly noisy here at all, which speaks volumes for the exposure being nalied. (y)

- Cheers Dale - Yes, I had the exposure nailed OK, but I often think at times like this that I really must use Manual Exposure rather than Av, and also take more time to think through what the bird may do next. Next time perhaps! :)

I unite often suffer with that problem, and am still thinking long after the subject has flown - always another day, like it nevertheless.
 
Its one of those shots,can be annoying but we have all been there.but still a pleasant image Russ.
