Kestrel with breakfast

I'm not sure what's going on here- did you shoot this through dirty glass in a hide maybe?

Looks very soft and lacks contrast & feather detail - just my opinion, no offence meant :)

It was a big crop even with a 600mm lens on a dull damp morning and also sized right down to allow direct upload on here. I admit not the best photo but the subject was worthy.
 
I cant see anything wrong , I can even count the whiskers on the mouse , Great photo , love it
