I have a small fish pond and as I was doing the pots I saw this King fisher, it landed above the pond so I run upstairs with my camera omd and 300 f4 and got a shot just a record shot but in 33 years
iv never seen one in the garden before.
Much envy, to overload proportions. I have permission to be on land now where kingfishers have been seen on the river and I have had a few flybys but nothing perched yet. To get one in your garden is an absolute privilege.
Get yourself hidden and closer, it will more than likely be back if it has a regular supply of food, not neccesarily your fish. Good luck, I wish you well and look forward to seeing the results.
