Excellent shots Roger, certainly different to see, well captured (y) ..............I'd just be happy with a shot of a Kingfisher! :)
 
Thanks Phil, this bird was back and forth all morning so ! filled my boots! :D
Now I need time to go through them all but just thought folks might be interested to see these if they, like me, have never seen it before :)
 
Despite a preference for close and detailed bird shots, I think this works rather well. I'm not so sure that I'd be wanting anything closer, as a pic of a Kingy with a case of 'the boke', wouldn't be going on the wall...!!! :D

Well caught and as Mike says, it's about the story telling with these. (y)
 
Something I have never seen, including a kingfisher for a long time. Roughly how long did it take to regurgitate the pellet? Great work in getting the sequence. Lovely pics.

Thanks Michael, they have been scarce for me too until this last few days ... the regurgitation was all over very quickly, just seconds :)
