Slightly envious here, currently trying to make one work but it just will not perch.

I have a bit more time on my hands at the moment so I'll be taking the opportunity to get back there. I'm not sure if you are aware but the first hide (the one with a door) was vandalised and burnt to the ground last winter, they are in the process of building a new one.

Nope, I had no idea, it's been a while, I moved from The Valleys in 2005. What is wrong with people?
 
2 nice shots Nigel, I'm really drawn to the first with the contrasting light for back ground, another shot that's not to my usual taste but works (y)
