Just back from a trip to Florida to look at a boat we shall be using on expedition next summer, from Yukon river, to the sea, across the Bering Sea to Nome, then Nome round the coast to Teller where we shall attempt to kite surf the Bering Strait from Wales to Russia. Just got to ship her from Florida to central Alaska now!

Wow, certainly looks like some trip you have planned!
I'm liking the power and dynamism in the image, but the (sail ?) is just a little too close to the horizon and frame edge for me.
Had it been slightly higher, it would have balanced the huge blue void over on the LH side.
Nonetheless, a nice image, - and good luck on the venture.

You can't choose. The wind dictates how the kite flies. Low gives greater pull and higher speed, once it starts to lift the drive reduces.
