I'll be heading down to the Biarritz area a little later in the year. Has anyone been to that area? Any tips on good spots for landscape photography?

Most of the mountain passes are great at least on the French side, I enjoyed the Pic du Midi area especially.
A little further east consider Cirque de Gavarnie. You could do worse than plot a route from Lourdes along the northern side of the Pyrenees through various gorges, gallery roads and passes.
Dordogne area is also lovely, don't miss Rocamadour if you are anywhere near, even though it is crazy busy.
You don't actually have to go into the place to photograph it.

Thanks, plenty to have a look at there :)

IIRC, Rocamadour is better from the outside than within the walls.
