North England Langdale/Ambleside, Lake District

Afternoon All

I'm making a trip down to Langdale in a couple of weeks and I'm allowed to take my camera gear! ;)

I mainly do long exposure shots with water or some nice reflection shots on the water, I don't know this area at all so could anyone suggest any good spots to go to??

Hi Scott

There are a lot of nice wet bits in that area.

Do you have transport ?
Great or little Langdale?
Valleys or do you feel like a walk up to the pointy bits?

We are staying at the Langdale hotel so somewhere not too far from there, ideally something that has easy access, I don't mind a short walk but nothing too far, and yes I have transport so no problem if its a short drive! Hopefully I can persuade the other half to come along :)
 
Elterwater, Blea Tarn, Little Langdale Tarn, Miner's Bridge, Cathedral Cavern, Hodge Close, Tilberthwaite, Millbeck aka Stickle Gill..
 
You really are spoiled for choice based in Langdale.

Two to add to mickledore's list - both easy walks to tempt the Mrs.

Tarn Hows and Loughrigg Tarn / Terrace.

It's worth driving to the head of the valley for a look and possibly a pint but the walks up there are hard going.
