This was a curious one. I've been trying to get away from the techy stuff for a bit to concentrate on the content. And then a friend suggested I bring a friend to play with her laser-wielding friend to see what we could come up with - so back firmly in geek territory.
I invited my occasional collaborator Verity along.
Frankly, it was annoyingly tricky. V wanted a shot of this particular difficult pose, my D750 had gone to the menders so I was stuck on my old Olympus, the daylight came and went all the time, balancing flash with the laser light was awkward, the lasers overheated, focusing was a git and my shutter speed dropped to something rather marginal. The laser safety stuff - for both the humans and the camera sensors - added another level of complexity.
Finally, combining the shapes made by the lasers with the shapes made by the subject did my head in.
Anyway: we made this. I kinda like it but I'm not sure it was worth the effort!
