Captured hand-held yesterday in the church grounds opposite our house using a Laowa 100mm 2X macro lens and two 2X teleconverters on a Sony A7ii with a Venus Optics KX800 twin flash.

The raw files were processed with DXO PhotoLab, Adobe Lightroom, Topaz DeNoise AI and, for the last six, Topaz Sharpen AI.

There are 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.

#1 It's a pity this one got chopped off at the edge of the frame, but I've not photographed one of these before so I thought I would keep it anyway.

#2 I would have liked a better angle on this one, but this was the only angle I could approach from, and it very quickly disappeared so I couldn't follow it to get a better angle

Last 2 are really very nice Nick and well thought about and just a bit different from you.
2nd, 3rd and 4th shots are my Fav..

I love those blades of grass ones.

Thanks. I was surprised how they came out given that I was using flash. It usually doesn't work too well (nasty flash reflections) and so I tend not to bother. Don't know why I did try this time, and I don't understand why the flash highlights looked fairly diffuse for once.

But I think I'll be trying some more. :)

Thanks Graham. Interesting that you like the small ones. I think I've been getting on much better recently with small animals than I used to.

Yes, the droplets are a bit different (see previous post). I might look around for some more small non-animal subjects. There are a lot of nice colours and textures on the fallen leaves at the moment for example.

Another great set Nick (y)
I rather like #2 it reminds me of a Trilobite
