Not had much joy with sunsets or sunrises for a good while, barring a good morning at Rattray Head last week, so concentrating on learning a new skill. astro landscape photography suits me, it's geeky and requires lots of pre-work on locations and positions of stars. The big bonus is that clear nights are slightly more predictable and reliable than sunrises and sunsets.
A wee bit mist added to the mood of these and it was so cold the camera lens hit dew point typically right in the middle of a 5 minute exposure.
Pictures in the Scottish Borders, Leaderfoot Viaduct and Smailholm Tower. Lens Samyang 14mm
