Yes
Anyone seen it?
Just watched Part 1 and 2
ouch !!!

Nah I'm not going to give anything away apart from there is some shocking stuff and if you are an MJ fan with blinkers on your stuffed.
Its a long watch, over 4 hours for both parts and in places it does waffle a bit, mainly the family's fleshing out stuff.

Is there anyone who didn't already know MJ was a nonce?

This isn't news.

I’m only an hour in... (spoilerish below)

But everyone seems pretty happy to be talking about all this stuff, even the parents??

Watching now, a little uncomfortable to watch.

wait till part 2 then it gets realy odd.

Yeah, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow but so far, just seems like stories with no evidence and I’m not an MJ fan, I don’t care either way if he was or wasn’t etc

Wtf were those parents thinking? They don’t even seem bothered by it, sat giving their accounts.

They left their kids with a grown man, in private bedrooms for days at a time. Purely and simply distracted by the flash lifestyle they were given and the ‘celebrity’ status. It’s a disgrace, I’m sat here watching it in a furious rage.

part 2 dude

i dread to think what it will be like. im still furious about it now.

yep it is not a good program to watch, yes I suspect we all had suspicions but to have it all laid out in such factual detail quite shocked me, two very brave guys I though after finishing both parts.

Just like Jimmy Saville?

But there was evidence and everyone had the same story about his character. Here is a documentary with 2 men making claims with no evidence, he said “this jewellery makes me sick” well if that were the case, sell it? Or atleast get rid of it, why keep it? MJ has a lot of children stay there, why aren’t more coming forward? And I haven’t seen prt 2 yet

Like I said, I don’t care either way, it doesn’t affect me in any way if he was or wasn’t. All I’m saying is anyone can make up a story and if the accuser is dead how can they defend themselves? The documentary is very one sided based on 2 accounts that contradict court statements, acquittals and FBI investigations.

If they are telling the truth then i am sorry for them, no child should have to go through that, it’s disgusting, but at the same time, I wouldn’t be leaving my child with Lewis Hamilton for a week just because he’s famous...

I see the barrack room lawyers are out in force, the usual suspects.

Brings to mind the song lyric 'the evidence before the court is incontrovertible, theres no need for the jury to retire.' except they did and found him not guilty

Sorry for the dodgy newspaper link

I've no axe to grind here, if he abused children and the evidence points to that then it needs to be told. But, considering how many children stayed at Neverland and yet so few have come forward seems to suggest all may not be as it seems.

Even taking into account if this documentary is a load of b*****ks there is still cases which surely have to make you question him.

"On the day Jackson began the third leg of his tour, news of the allegations broke to the public and received worldwide media attention. Jackson cancelled the remainder of the tour due to health problems arising from the scandal. In January 1994, Jackson reached a financial settlement for $23,000,000 with the Chandlers and in September a criminal investigation was closed. The allegations affected his public image and commercial standing, and several endorsement deals were canceled, including Jackson's decade-long Pepsi endorsement. Similar allegations were made by other parties in the following decades, leading to a trial in which Jackson was found not guilty."

I found the docu sickening due to the graphic sexual detail involving children. I have no way of knowing if the accusations are true or false. The attitude of the parents was damned peculiar, to say the least. I cannot understand how a mother can believe their child was abused then have an entirely laid back attitude during an interview.
Furthermore, how can any parent allow their children to share a bed with any man other than their father. The whole matter is very, very weird.

For me the one bit that really started to build mainly in part 2 was how many people were involved in setting a lot of this up.
One of the things that came out of the Jimmy Saville case was he kept it all very tight, only his driver they say knew most of what was happening and he did a lot of behind the scenes stuff.

In the Docu I was drawn very much to the fact that MJ could not have arranged so many things on his own, little things like the toys, sweets, porn. He must have had a great deal of help. The docu goes into how many safe places, apartments etc he had dotted about to take his "friends" to? All that must have taken a lot of arranging, cars, drivers, plane tickets.

Yet all this time there to my knowledge have been only a few people gone rogue, mainly cleaners or the odd housekeeper.
I suspect out there somewhere some people are still getting paid for their silence.

Or there is nothing to be silent about? People aren’t very good at keeping secrets and all payments can be tracked

I’m not saying they’re lying or that he wasn’t weird but if so many people were involved, someone is going to slip up

It seems to be gathering pace with many global radio stations axing the playing of his music. You would have though if what was presented in the documentary is without any grounding the Jackson Estate will be formulating a massive law suit against the organisation behind the documentary.

That annoys me, we cant just erase history. No fan of MJ but I do like Gary Glitter and often play his stuff as (to me) its good music! Don't get me started on Chaplin, who I think was a genius and pioneer, yet today would be slated.

Why? It would cost more to sue them? Surely they need to just make a statement explaining it is not based on facts and that they deny everything. Although, the director is hoping more people come forward and would like to do 2 more documentaries

Surely that depends on the perceived loss. I have no idea the royalties that continue to roll in but I suspect it's substantial. Also not sure when it was aired initially on HBO but only finished a day ago in the UK. I suspect more to come out of this in the coming weeks as some will want to disassociate with anything MJ.

Seems to be quite marmite so far with most either on the "its all BS" or "We all knew it and this confirms it", with a few indifferent.

Simpsons have pull the MJ episode.

On the other hand, the people with blinkers on are pushing his albums up the charts.
