Lechlade bridge over the Thames.

Blurred duck/goose is very distracting.
Get rid of it or drop in a sharp one.

Also a light bit of foliage at the extreme left tends to draw the eye.
Why a brown border? It doesn't really echo any of the tones in the picture.

Thanks for your thoughts. I guess frames are personal choice, I've used Black for so long I've gone to brown for a while. Here is the picture with the offending parts gone.

too much movement during the day so the bushes look soft, bridge does a bit too? I guess the time to do this is in the still of early morning/late evening
Nice idea though.

The bridge is sharp in the full size picture. It was a windy day but I think the wind movement gives life to the photo. Some I took that day I didn't bother with because of too much movement, but a lot were good. Here is a normal photo of the bridge.

TBH I think I prefer the sharp version.
These "smooth water" shots are so common but the movement of the trees is not helping the overall result.
Plus I like the colours in the water and general "sparkle" of the sharp version.

If you're going to add a border, try picking up a colour that's in the image, but it's a very risky thing to do, since the colours are different on every edge.
