weekly Leebert's 52 for 2020. Week 23 - Hidden.

That looks fantastic. Black & white is a bold choice, as most water droplet photos are vibrant colours, but I think this is perfect.
Many thanks for your kind words Dominic.

Your shot made me think of Gareth B and wonder where / how he is.
Nicely set up and shot Lee.
I quite often wonder too. Thank you Tim.

Nice done water drop. Maybe a bit of tidying up with the clone or heal tool bottom middle there?
Thank you Dave. You are absolutely correct. I did try but LR made a bit of a mess of it and it was obvious so I left it alone.

Great water drop collision - and great low key lighting.
Many thanks Phil.

That's a great shot - the black and white processing is impressive.
Than you Helen.

Excellent and as said unusual to see one in black and white
Many thanks Allan.

That's a cracking water drop Lee
Thank you Chris.

Great shot!
Thank you.

That really works in B&W, Background what ever it is really suits the Image.
Pete
Thank you Pete. The BG is a very large matt black plant pot saucer.

That's a cracking image Lee nothing to fault and the B&W conversion really suits it.
Thanks Mark.

Looks incredible! Very well done. And I agree looks really effective in black and white
Thank you very much Roxanne.

WOW Lee, that`s a fantastic shot and even better in B&W. Can`t fault it at all.
Thank you kindly Dave.

Nicely done and works well in b&w
Thank you Clive.

Fantastically captured! Great on technique too.
Many thanks David.

I thought I had commented on this already - I really like this in B&W. It's unusual - and good in it's own right, not just because it's different.
Thank you very much.

Thank you all for your very kind words and for taking the time to pop by :)

Nice abstract Lee

Grates on me a bit - but that's a nice mono :)

Love this. So simple. Does it remind anyone else of a still from the beginning of Star Wars?

Household item
I always find cheese grater shots work pretty well. It must be something to do with the light and dark, making them very abstracty.

Very nice Lee I like that
Thank you Mark.

GRATE shot!!
Brilliant! Thanks David.

Nice abstract Lee
Thank you Chris.

Grates on me a bit - but that's a nice mono :)
Lol! Thank you Dave.

Nice Lee.
The composition is spot on, leading your eye through the image.
Good strong range from black to reflected highlight.
Thank you Tim.

Nice abstract of the grater
Thanks Allan.

Good composition and lighting, nicely symetrical.
Thanks Clive.

Love this. So simple. Does it remind anyone else of a still from the beginning of Star Wars?
Thank you for your kind words Roxanne. It did remind me of just that when I was taking it!

Very nice - I like the DoF, and am surprised at it from such a small sensor!
Thank you.

Nice abstract shot. A good example of symmetry can be a powerful compositional ally in boring household item shots.
Thank you Stan.

Great grater abstract Lee.
Thank you Dave (y)

Nice b&w Lee. I like the symmetry and the PoV.
Thank you Pete.

Thank you Dominic.

It took me awhile too,
bang on theme Lee.

Right on topic -shows the value of stripes for camouflage - is she a good hunter?

Nice take on the theme Lee it appears that Cats like hiding in the plants!

That took me a while to spot, bang on theme
Thank you Allan.

Good camouflage, it took me a little while to find the kitty kat.
Thanks Dominic.

It took me awhile too,
bang on theme Lee.
Cheers Chris.

Flipping Heck! Took me ages. For that alone you win Hidden! :D
Thanks David :)

Very well hidden and well spotted.
Thank you Clive.

Right on topic -shows the value of stripes for camouflage - is she a good hunter?
Thanks Phil. Not any more. She is 21 and like to take it easy now a days.

Extremely well hidden! Nicely taken (and nicely camouflaged!)
Many thanks.

Nice take on the theme Lee it appears that Cats like hiding in the plants!
Thanks Mark. Under the apple tree is one of her favourite places to be.

She is very well hidden! Our cat does this right under the bird table [emoji849] Thankfully she’s old and slow now.
Thank you. The birds must know how old and slow Kitty is as they happily come down and feed when she is sleeping!

Many thanks for dropping by. Apologies for the lack of comments lately. I will do my best to catch up.
